Working With Us to Make a Difference

It takes a crew of smart, dedicated problem solvers to do the interesting work we do at BOG Constructions.

That’s why we work with bright, talented people who want to make a difference in our company and in the projects we design. Not only are we relentlessly dedicated to structural engineering excellence, but also we care about the people who work and learn in the buildings we engineer.

When you come to BOG, you’ll feel the difference being here. We want our employees to be exceptional; we’ll challenge your intellect, ask you to give back to the community and to share our values.

Mentoring Young Engineers for Successful Careers

We believe in mentoring young engineers who work at BOG to pass along knowledge that comes with our years of experience. The mentoring process promotes collaboration and interaction within the firm and is a critical element in promoting a team environment.

BOG has been the perfect place to start my career as an engineer. The entire team is friendly and driven, and the variety of work has allowed me to gain experience with different types of structures and building materials.

BOG Summer Internships

Enjoy the Southern California lifestyle while gaining valuable experience working alongside experienced and well-respected structural engineers. Interns will be given the opportunity to apply the fundamentals they’re learning in school to real-world engineering solutions on challenging and rewarding projects. Experience our supportive and engaging environment by taking part in social events both in and out of the office.

Working at BOG has been an awesome experience. From working on gravity and lateral calculations, to visiting multiple job sites, I’ve been able to experience how a structural engineering office works. I’m thankful for the new set of skills I’ve learned from some great engineers, and that I’ll be able to apply those in my future classes at Cal Poly and in my career after college.

Emily Jahansouz E.I.T.

You never expect to start and finish your career at the same company, but I truly believe that’s the plan for me at BOG. Working at BOG has challenged me as an engineer while contributing to my creativity and leadership skills. BOG offered me amazing opportunities for advancement and ownership, and I am grateful to have found BOG as my first job out of school.

Ben Pitts, S.E. Principal

As a young engineer at BOG, I am given so many opportunities to grow and develop as an engineering professional. Most important to this growth has been the excellent mentoring offered by senior engineers in the office, who are always willing to help out with any problem I encounter. Thanks to the support BOG offers me, I face the challenges each new project brings with confidence.
